Newly re-thatched and carefully restored, the cottage offers cosy and comfortable self-catering accommodation for holidays or short breaks all year round.
Refurbished for 2023 the cottage sleeps two in studio style accommodation with a comfortable double bed and two armchairs, a TV with DVD, and a dining able and chairs, all in the open plan living / sleeping area. There is a well equipped galley style kitchen adjoining the living area, with a combination microwave oven and grill and built in fridge, dish washer, two ring ceramic hob and even a washer/dryer for laundry. Just off the entrance hall is the shower room with a walk in electric shower, wash hand basin and w.c.. The entrance hall also offers a built in wardrobe and storage space.
Outdoors the cottage has access to the garden areas with seating overlooking the loch and the cottage has it's own off street parking space, also somewhat unique in Plockton!
The Thatched Cottage has a perfect location in the village, close to the loch and all the village amenities, yet in a quiet location just off Harbour Street. Inside the cottage it is a secluded haven from the outside world. It makes an ideal "mini-moon" location, or romantic getaway, at any time of year.
The cottage is also a well equipped and comfortable base for walking or cycling holidays and touring the wider Skye and Lochalsh Area. Even the small isles are accessible as a day trip from here, or the scenic rail journey to inverness, and just a short stroll from your doorstep here, Calum's famous seal trips! Plockton has so much to offer, just allow yourself time here to relax and enjoy.
