Access is directly into the open plan kitchen and dining area which is a good dropping off point for welly boots and outdoor gear, leading into the shaker style kitchen finished with sleek high quality granite work surfaces.
The adjoining sitting room has a homely feel with reclaimed wood floor and linen sofas in soft grey, and the wood burner will bring warmth to those out of season days when staying-in sounds like a good plan.
The cottage theme continues into the two double bedrooms (one ground floor with en-suite shower room) each furnished with quality Barker and Stonehouse beds and deep mattresses which are sure to ease you gently into sleep.
For the younger members of the party, the third bedroom has twin beds, with plenty of space for a travel cot, and additionally benefits from an adjoining snug/playroom for games or a spot of TV away from grown-up chat.

Kitchen with electric oven and grill and ceramic hob, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. Dining space with seating for six. An adjoining cupboard has a washing machine and is also a warm spot for drying any outdoor wear.
Sitting room with two double sofas, Smart TV, wood burning stove, selection of books.
Bedroom one with 5’2” king size bed, side tables, chest of drawers, door hook with hangers.
En-suite bathroom with large walk-in shower, heated towel rail, basin and WC.
FIRST FLOOR
Bedroom two with with 5’2” king size bed, side tables, chest of drawers, wall-lined cupboards with hanging space and storage.
Family bathroom with bath, basin and WC.
Bedroom three with 3’ twin beds, two small chest of drawers, door hook with hangers. Velux windows with blackout blinds. Space for a travel cot if required.
Snug/playroom with beanbags for small children, sofa, flatscreen TV with DVD player, selection of books, games and DVDs.
OUTSIDE
Private front facing lawned garden enclosed by beech hedging and five bar gate fencing. A shed is available for the storage of bikes, golf clubs and other sporting kit.
PARKING
There is private parking for two cars in the private drive to the side of the property.
BABIES & CHILDREN
A highchair and travel cot are available on request.
DOGS
One dog is permitted free of charge, with another dog considered on request at a fee of £20. Dogs must be clean before access into the property and thereafter must be kept off the furniture and out of the bedrooms.
GUEST AMENITIES
Bed linen and towels are provided for guests along with guest toiletries. Duvets and pillows are hypoallergenic. A hairdryer is provided in the two main double bedrooms.
WI-FI & MOBILE COVERAGE
Wi-Fi is provided. Mobile reception can be patchy inside the cottage but this improves directly outside in the garden where there is 4G coverage.
HEATING
Oil fired gas central heating throughout the property. Wood burning stove with logs supplied.
GUEST PRIVACY
The cottage sits in a tiny hamlet of properties and bounds the owner property to the rear. There is no direct overlooking. While the owners are on hand to deal with any questions, they are equally respectful of guest privacy.
