Situated in an area of great natural scenic beauty on the fringes of open countryside and near the coastal village of Furnace, near Inveraray in Argyllshire, Powdermills is set in a sheltered position amid 10 acres of attractive gardens and woodland. The ruins of 19th century gun powder mills also lie within the grounds. The house is stylishly open plan providing comfortable living space with an emphasis on space and natural light. It offers wonderful vistas of the surrounding land and loch.

We welcome you to relax after your journey. When you arrive homemade scones and cake will be available for you in the Garden Room. There’s tea and fresh roasted coffee and fresh milk and mineral water in a mini fridge. Just help yourself and enjoy the views.

We welcome well-trained dogs in our rooms.
