Priestlands Bungalow is the holiday cottage in both the town and the country. It is ideally located on the edge of town close to the facilities of Dumfries, with a rural outlook over grazed fields and the summit of Criffel.

Comfortable living room with multi fuel stove, 2 sofas, dining area seating up to 6, 32” LCD satellite TV, DVD player, radio/CD.
Well equipped kitchen including double electric oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine and microwave.
Tumble drier available on request.
One double bedroom with king size bed.
One twin bedroom.
A single bedroom with additional fold up-bed.
Cot , highchair and baby bath.
Bathroom with bath and over bath shower.
Gas central heating throughout and instant hot water.
Free WiFi
Linen and towels provided.
Heating and electricity included.
Exclusive use of south west facing garden, with outdoor seating.
Outlook over rolling fields, grazed in summer by cattle and sheep.
Watch geese fly overhead and enjoy the wide variety of garden birds.
Off road parking for up to 3 cars or 1 transit sized van plus 1 car. (Sorry no large vans or trucks)
Lockable cupboard for bikes, boots and outdoor gear.
Pressure washer available on request for cycles and motorbikes.
Tea/coffee/milk provided on arrival.
Smoking only allowed outside the cottage.
Sorry no pets.
NB There are steps to the front and rear entrances.

On the A710 Dumfries to New Abbey Road, Priestlands Bungalow is in an ideal central location for enjoying all that the region has to offer.
Dumfries town centre a ten minute drive or 25 minute walk away.
An easy drive to a choice of supermarkets (one 24 hours).
A newspaper and convenience store within a 10 minute walk or a couple of minutes drive of the cottage.
Within half and hour or less you can reach the Solway Estuary and varied coastline, local RSPB and WWT bird reserves, historic sites at New Abbey and Caerlaverock Castle and two adventure/animal parks for children.
The award winning world class mountain biking trails at Mabie Forest (part of the 7 Stanes) are just 10 minutes away and the Dalbeattie trails are close by too. Further afield there are more mountain biking facilites at Ae forest, Glentrool forest and Kirroughtree near Newton Stewart.
We are just a few minutes drive from the A75, the main route through Dumfries and Galloway, well placed for journeys across the region.
Visit rural attractions, gardens, historic sites, beaches, the towns of Moffat, Castle Douglas (the Food Town), Kirkcudbright (the Artists Town) and Wigtown (Scotland's Book Town) in the far west.
