Make Moffat your base to experience hundreds of scenic open roads: quiet, often with good line of sight, jaw-dropping scenery and plenty of pit stops to fuel up and rest up.
Discover a walker’s paradise – without the crowds of the Lake District or the Highlands. Two superb walking trails pass through Moffat: the Southern Upland Way, Scotland's first official coast-to-coast long-distance route, and the Annandale Way, which includes the mighty Devil's Beef Tub. Challenging yet rewarding treks. Look out for golden eagles. Yes, they're right here in Moffat.
