Raasay Cottage is a stunning 19th Century barn conversion located in Camusdarach on the West Coast of Scotland, near the villages of Arisaig, Morar and Mallaig. It is a prime holiday location within easy reach of Skye and the Small Isles, Ben Nevis, Aviemore and the Cairngorms, Loch Ness and Britain’s most remote pub at Inverie, Knoydart. Once you’ve arrived you simply won’t want to leave.
The cottage is part of Cross Farm which is nestled only a short walk across the road from the amazing Camusdarach beaches (made famous by the films ‘Local Hero’ and ‘Highlander’).
Raasay Cottage is one of six farm steading conversions which encircle a communal courtyard. It is a traditional stone building furnished to a high standard with a modern apartment layout. The open plan kitchen and living room provides a comfortable area for cooking and relaxing. Whether you’re spending time cuddled up in front of the wood burning stove or basking in the sunshine in the private garden, the cottage benefits from both worlds in all seasons, and is suitable for couples, friends and families.
Raasay Cottage has everything you would need to make your holiday luxurious and hassle free, including flat screen tv, dvd player, wifi, washing machine and microwave for example. We also have a high chair for young children. The cottage sleeps 4 in total with 2 bedrooms: one double and one twin room, and one family shower room. There is a private garden with a unique heritage swing and garden furniture for relaxing.
