Families, individuals, and groups are all welcome at Raasay House as are well behaved pets. Bus groups are also welcome, prior booking advisable.

Our approach is simple. We source the best local, seasonal ingredients, and we prepare them in a delicious, authentic, wholesome, uncomplicated way all at a reasonable price.

WILDLIFE:
Raasay is abundant with wildlife. From Sea and Golden eagles, herons and cormorants, minke whales, basking sharks, dolphins & porpoises, to deer, voles, otters and seals. Some are unique to Raasay, whilst some use Raasay as a stopover on their migration routes.
Our staff are able to point you to the best areas for wild life viewing, whether by sea or land!
ACTIVITIES:
Whether you're looking for adventure and high octane excitement or the chance to learn a new skill, meet new people and build confidence, Raasay House will exceed your expectations.
We cater for all ages and abilities, from beginners to advanced, under-8s to over-70s, from teenage daredevils to their more cautious mums. You can sign up for one half-day session or stay with us on a week's break with all activities included. We can tailor an activities programme to suit your needs, abilities and budget.

LOCATION:
To reach the Raasay House, there is a scenic 20 minute from Sconser ferry terminal on the Isle of Skye. Sconser is approximately a 40 minute drive from the Skye Bridge.
Once the ferry reaches Raasay, from the slip way, follow the road along the shoreline then up towards the farm steading in front of you. Take the left fork at the farm steading junction and and the main entrance to Raasay House is right there.
Set in its own grounds, Raasay House has fantastic views of the Sound of Raasay and the Cuillin Hills of Skye. The house is surrounded by forest.
From Raasay House, there are many accessible walks for beginners to the more advanced on the coast or in the forests
