Rabbie Burns Lodge, set at the edge of Balbeg Wood, has a tremendous welcoming atmosphere and sleeps 16. Being constructed of quality Scottish timber the woodland feel extends to the lodge. With seven bedrooms, Rabbie Burns Lodge offers spacious accommodation for a large family or for a number of people holidaying together. Balbeg Country Holidays offer a selection of five beautifully presented holiday homes in a quiet rural setting some 50 miles south of Glasgow and 16 miles from the county town of Ayr in South Ayrshire.

Our five quality self catering holiday homes lie in the grounds of Balbeg Estate, a 300 acre estate which sits in the valley of the Water of Girvan about 2 miles south of the delightful village of Straiton.

Rabbie Burns Lodge sleeps 16. Balbeg can accommodate groups of up to 44, between the give properties.

Lounge/Dining Area:
Large lounge with colour TV, video and DVD. Seating for 16 with dining table and seating for 16.

Entrance Hallway:
Large open plan area with extra seating.

Bedrooms:
There are seven bedrooms some of which can be made up as double or twin to suit your requirements.

Bedroom 1 – double bed with en-suite
Bedroom 2 – double bed with en-suite
Bedroom 3 – two twin beds
Bedroom 4 – two twin beds
Bedroom 5 – single bed with pull out guest bed to form double/twins
Bedroom 6 – single bed with pull out guest bed to form double/twins
Bedroom 7 – bunk beds

There are also 2 single put me up beds for use in any of the 4 big bedrooms or living room.

Kitchen:
Newly fitted kitchen with electric cooker, fridge, freezer compartment to fridge, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, washing machine and well equipped kitchen utensils and crockery.

Large Decking area:
Supplied with patio furniture.
