The property sits within a pretty courtyard with off road parking. The welcoming entrance way opens out to the well appointed kitchen, dining and living area on the ground floor. A superb child friendly space for entertaining and for kids and families to ‘cósagach’ (the Scottish version of ‘hygge’), settling down in front of the wood burning stove and sharing stories of the day. The kitchen has all the utensils that the designated chef for the night will need and will still be part of the action with the open plan space.
On the first floor the beautifully designed bedrooms are all en-suite and offer a sumptuous nights sleep on the comfy beds. Plenty of storage space will allow you to unpack and feel at home during your stay.
Outside you will find a raised deck area with dining area and, after a hard day exploring, you can sink into the hot tub bubbles and soak in the view of the Cairngorm mountains. Heading down towards the garden you will find a bike store and The Squirrel’s Drey play area.
The Lodge is within easy walking distance of the heart of Boat of Garten, known as the Osprey Village and offers easy access to the rest of the Cairngorm National Park. There are walking and cycle routes right from your front door or you can hop on the vintage stream train into Aviemore. With this property you will also receive Trout boat fishing rights on Loch Vaa, from May – Oct, which is a hidden gem in this area where you really can escape.
