This enchanting little cottage is a few miles from Kilchoan on the Ardnamurchan peninsula, on the way to the lighthouse which is the westernmost point of mainland Britain.
Behind it is a beautifully designed garden with decking, a cascade and wonderful views of the surrounding hills. The interior too is bright and welcoming - the open plan living area has a solid fuel stove, and a spiral staircase leads up to a attractive galleried bedroom.
The area offers superb walking, cycling on quiet roads, and an abundance of wildlife. There is an idyllic white sand beach just half a mile or so away at Portuairk, one of several in the area, and the Sonachan Hotel is not much further. Kilchoan is a lively community and a little ferry operates from there to Tobermory on Mull.
