Rhumhor House is a magnificent 5 bedroom, self catering house set on the picturesque banks of Lochgoil. It is unapologetically grand and furnished to a high standard making it the perfect location for family holidays and gatherings. The property boasts the use of an optional hot tub with loch side views, perfect for relaxing get togethers!

Rhumhor is a majestic self catering house sitting in a prominent position on the banks of Loch Goil. It was commissioned in 1879 by the Commander in Chief of HM Forces, Scotland, as a grand holiday home. Today Rhumhor once again offers holiday accommodation to the highest standard. Rhumhor House is steeped in history giving it distinctive character balanced with tasteful interior. Five comfortable bedrooms sleep up to 9 people (cot bed available) and dogs are permitted on request. The house features a huge family room where family and friends can gather, fairy tale turrets and beach side lawn all of which make it truly unique. In addition, the house now boasts a 6 person hot tub with loch views - the icing on the cake for the perfect relaxing get together!

Enjoy Rhumhor with your loved ones to experience the peace and tranquillity of nature at its best. Take in the gorgeous views of Loch Goil surrounded by the mountainour landscapes and cascading waterfalls. While you enjoy the wonderful feeling of Highland seclusion you will find a golf course, swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, boat hire, fishing, walks for all abilities, bowling, soft play, restaurants, pubs and outdoor activity centres all around the village of Lochgoilhead.

Just over an hour from Glasgow airport, the famous Loch Lomond is a short drive away. So too is the drive north to Oban and the gateway to many of the West Highland islands. This is the ideal base for exploring the many attractions this wonderful part of Scotland has to offer. There is, without doubt,something for everyone at Rhumhor House.
