Just a short walk from the local pub serving food, The Cross Keys, the village tennis court and park. Lots of lovely walks from the door and fantastic road cycling in the area.
The garden has been kept wild for the rich wildlife habitat and depending upon the time of the year there are lots of wild flowers, grasses and fruit bushes. You can spot wild orchids, foxgloves, cornflowers, poppies to name a few. Oyster Catchers nest close by in the spring and there is an abundance of local wildlife to spot from roe deer to salmon to kingfishers to red squirrels and otters.
With two bedrooms, one king size bed and a second bedroom with twin single beds, Riverside Cabin is spacious yet cosy and well equipped. The kitchen has a standing fridge freezer, electric oven, microwave, halogen hob and dishwasher. There is a washing machine and tumble drier in the spacious porch/utility. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower. The living area is the total width of the property with a sunny outlook and large dining table – ideal for cards, games and studying maps. Bicycles can be kept securely in the large porch/utility area.
Externally there is a lovely loggia bench overlooking the water and a picnic table and BBQ set in the wild garden.
Please note there are some higgledy steps down to the cottage from the roadside.
