Set in Abriachan close to one of the highest points on the Great Glen Way and Loch Ness 360 route, Rivoulich Lodge is surrounded by over 500 hectares of forest and moorland with miles of trails for hiking & cycling.
The world-famous Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle are just a short drive away, whilst both Inverness & historic Culloden Battlefield are also within easy reach. Adventurers will find the Munroes of Glen Affric and Glen Cannich Glen a short drive to the west and Ben Wyvis to the north.

Our bedrooms are on a single level with views over the surrounding meadows to the forest. All our rooms are furnished with luxurious king or super king-sized beds, and modern, high-class ensuite facilities. We can also provide twin single beds in one room on request and subject to availability. There are tea and coffee making facilities, smart TV, free WiFi and complimentary toiletries in every room.
Start your day with a home-cooked full Scottish breakfast using locally sourced ingredients or choose a vegetarian breakfast instead. If you prefer something lighter, we offer continental options. We can also offer a limited range of evening meals. Please enquire at time of booking.
There is plenty of free, private parking on our grounds. Please note that access is via a well-maintained foresty track, which may be unsuitable for sports cars or lowered vehicles. Please contact us if you have this type of vehicle. The track is also the route of the Great Glen Way. Please observe the 15mph speed limit for the safety of hikers and wildlife. We can offer secure cycle storage and cycle maintenance facilities on request.
We offer a pick-up service if you're using public transport, whether by air, rail or road. We can also provide a bag transfer service for hikers on the Great Glen Way. and Loch Ness 360 routes. Please confirm at the time of booking. We regret that some of these services may not be available during Covid-19 restrictions.
