In addition to the famous castle, the real Mary King's Close on the Royal Mile is very popular offering a fascinating glimpse of life in the not so "good old days".
The apartment is situated less than 600m from Edinburgh's Playhouse Theatre in the Bellevue district of Edinburgh, a central but quite residential area, adjoining the architecturally elegant Georgian buildings of Edinburgh's "New Town". The apartment itself comprises an open plan lounge kitchen and dining area, two double bedrooms and a bathroom.
The open plan lounge/kitchen area is well equipped with high quality appliances and furnishings providing a fantastic communal space for sociable cooking, dining and relaxing. The lounge area has full length French windows providing access to a south facing balcony with views towards Nelson's monument on Calton Hill. The bedrooms house a double bed and a super king sized bed, the super king bed in the bedroom 2 can be separated to form two single beds, please confirm the configuration you require at the time of the booking. Bedroom 1 has a full length window through which you can gain access to relax in the late sun, or take in the sky flashes from the Hogmany or Festival fireworks, on the second, west facing, balcony. Both the lounge and bedroom balconies are furnished with table and chairs.
As well as a host of high street shop names Edinburgh's flagships shops Jenners and Harvey Nicols are close by, the return journey being a short 10 min downhill walk to the apartment.
Local specialist shops Valvona Crolla - delicatessen and Crombies - butchers within 5 mins walk. A local Tesco 'Metro' shop (small supermarket) is within 400 metres.

All off which have an abundance of opportunities in and around Edinburgh. With over 30 golf courses within a 30 min drive of the apartment we would be happy to advise which one/s might be suited to your preference e.g. beginner, scenic, challenging etc.

Payment
We require 25% of rental costs at the time of the booking with the balance due 6 weeks prior to arrival.
Deposits
£150 for good housekeeping against damages and breakages.
£50 optional against non return of parking permit and/or fob.
