Rockvale is perfectly positioned by the banks of the splendid Loch Long, on the beautiful South West Coast of the Rosneath peninsula. Nestled in the heart of the picturesque historic coastal village of Cove, with its great local amenities that include a local village store selling fresh coffee and cakes plus a range of fruit, veg, daily meals and local artisan products. The village also has a lively Burgh Hall which hosts a wide range of community events, including a renowned Book Festival and very popular Real Ale Festival. There is also an active sailing club ideal for water sports enthusiasts. A regular passenger ferry runs from Kilcreggan to Gourock with direct train links to the vibrant cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh. Visit the local antiques shop, pub and historic victorian pier in the village of Kilcreggan and enjoy amazing walking and cycling routes with an array of coastal, country and forest trails to explore in this area of outstanding natural beauty, including Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park.

The soft furnishings, textiles and artwork in the property is supportive of small UK based designers and talented scottish artists. Some of the furniture and fittings have been reclaimed or upcycled, including the tiles in the bathroom and kitchen, the chandeliers in the hall and the fireplaces in the lounge and en-suite bedroom.
Our fantastic period property is pet friendly and has 3 spacious bedrooms and two bathrooms, sleeping up to 6 guests.
The master bedroom has amazing sea views over Loch Long and a beautiful comfy four-poster king-size bed to enjoy. The double bedroom has feature fireplace and a stylish en-suite shower room, with shower and WC. Next is the lovely stylish twin bedroom with pretty, rear garden views. The lounge is wonderfully light with magnificent sea views over Loch Long, an open fire to enjoy on cosy nights in and a smart TV. Completing the accommodation is the master bathroom with separate shower and underfloor heating, and finally the well-equipped kitchen/diner also with underfloor heating, the perfect place to cook up a storm with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee machine, washing machine and dishwasher, and a spacious dining area with ample seating, ideal to enjoy family meals together. There is also direct access from the kitchen to the rear enclosed shared garden.
Venturing outside to the fully enclosed private front garden, with magnificent sea and mountain views to enjoy over Loch Long, there is a seating area, ideal for morning coffee and lazy evening star gazing, perhaps enjoying a good local ale, a nice glass of wine or a wee dram. There is ample off-road parking available.
