In a pretty spot in the village of Luss is Rose Cottage, an idyllic house that is perfect just for two looking out towards beautiful Loch Lomond.
This traditional cottage has been brought up-to-date whilst keeping features such as the window shutters and half moon windows that add to its character. Everything is on one level and is open plan with double windows that show off the loch view. A large, enclosed garden surrounds the cottage with a patio seating area that is perfect for enjoying a morning cuppa.
Boat trips can be taken from the pier to visit Inchcailloch island, the base of Ben Lomond or there is a circular route with onboard commentary on the area’s history. For a really special memory, seaplane trips head from Alexandria (6m) up and over Loch Lomond showcasing the amazing beauty of the loch.
