This is a most attractive, detached cottage standing in its own extensive garden grounds (furniture, summer house) on a wooded hillside, with fine views over open countryside, 4 miles from Strathdon and 43 miles from Aberdeen, off the road and on a private track.
Inside, it is spacious, cosy, very well furnished and equipped, and all on one level. Outside, there are patio areas to front and rear, and ample parking.
From here, it is but a short car journey to famous Royal Deeside. In the other direction, you can take what is literally the 'high road' from Cockbridge to Tomintoul and join a spur of the Speyside Way or the Whisky Trail. There is good walking straight from the door in the nearby Ladder Hills and you are just 15 miles from the Lecht ski area. A day trip to the sunny, sandy beaches of the Moray Coast is perfectly feasible, as is a visit to the Granite City of Aberdeen.
