Rosebank & Newbreeze

Rosebank and Newbreeze Holiday Cottages are situated in the pretty unspoilt village of Port Logan in Dumfries and Galloway, South West Scotland and is ideal for families and couples looking for something completely different from their hectic working lives. This traditional fisherman’s cottage is now completely refurbished making your holiday in Scotland comfortable and welcoming.

Rosebank cottage has two double bedrooms, one ensuite, and a third bedroom with bunk beds, sleeping a family of six. All on one level, a bright and light open plan kitchen, living and dining area opens onto a large private,secluded and secure garden on two levels. Steps to the top level lead to a picnic table and seating area where there is a wonderful view of the Port Logan Lighthouse and the sea. Two Lrg or 3 Sml well behaved pets are welcome at Rosebank for a small extra charge.

Newbreeze has 1 double and 1 twin bedroom sleeping 4 with a cot available. Light bright and airy with open plan living, dining and kitchen, a large family sized bath / shower / loo and there is a loo and wash basin on the uper floor for convenience. Large secure secluded garden with a seating area with picnic bench. Newbreeze welcomes 1 large or 2 small pets for a small extra charge.

Not the best weather but the dogs enjoyed the beach and walks.

Visited Portpatrick, Logan Botanic Gardens and of course the fish pond.

Lovely to see the deer in the garden (fortunately we spotted them before the dogs). Jason went fishing and caught Pollock and Wrass.

Another great holiday in Newbreeze, clean & cosy as usual. Weather amazing, best week of the year without a doubt.

Fishing patchy, caught 4lb Bass, Pollock, Cole fish & Wrass. Foraged for Razor clams, Oysters & even found a Scallop to top things off. The sea around here never stops giving if you are prepared to look.

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location.

Perfect holiday for Ruby to relax and unwind after important GCSE exam year.

The best cottage with a handy location for Brian and Ruby to launch the boat and go fishing, using our paddle boards and doggy walking for miles.

The cottage is as perfect as it was the first time we stayed a few years ago. Denise and Nick put so much work into making sure everything is perfect for your stay.

Weather has been a bit indifferent, but it is not about the weather, as it’s such a relaxing and comfortable cottage it’s easy to chill out. Daisy and Oscar have enjoyed their walks and runs on the beach every day. Was here in February this year also, can’t wait for March next year when were back. But who knows might be back sooner !!

The location, so close to the amazing beach, was ideal for our Granddaughter who loved every moment making sandcastles and searching for crabs and jellyfish.
