Rowan House has three en-suite bedrooms, a shared living room with TV. A native woodload was planted on the croft about twenty years ago. Twenty five different species of native tree were planted. There is a path network throughout the forest which leads to a small lochan where otters have taken up residence and can be seen occasionally. There is a scenic walk along the shoreline where various seabirds can be viewed. Sturdy walking footwear is recommended for these walks.
