Rowardennan Youth Hostel sits in an idyllic location on the banks of Loch Lomond with its own jetty, panoramic views across the loch and the West Highland Way passing by the gate.
You can laze on the beach, fish, or climb Scotland's most southerly Munro, Ben Lomond (974m and right behind the hostel). A boat cruise up the loch is the most relaxing way to explore this area, although many choose to walk the West Highland Way. Rowardennan is a welcome stop off point for those about to attempt the next 20 miles to our hostel in Crianlarich! If you’d rather take a more leisurely stroll, try the Millennium Forest Trail and explore the woods around the loch shores and village
The lodge provides quality budget accommodation in multi-share, family and private rooms. Facilities include a large lounge with spectacular views across Loch Lomond, a laundry, drying room and shop. WiFi access is free. Full catering is on offer throughout the day, but there’s also a large self-catering kitchen and dining room.
Rowardennan Lodge is in the heart of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park which encompasses breathtaking mountains and glens, moorlands, forests, woodlands and the vast, tranquil beauty of over 20 lochs.
