B&B in an Edwardian house overlooking the village green in Town Yetholm, Scottish Borders. Lovely countryside on your doorstep with great walking and cycling. We offer a friendly welcome, comfortable bed, and hearty breakfast.

For our B&B guests, we have a light and airy double bedroom overlooking the tree-lined village green. The house is grade-B listed with many original period features. There's a comfortable king-size bed with crisp, white cotton bed linen and an en-suite shower room.

The lovely village of Town Yetholm is at the edge of the Cheviot Hills and is a great location for walking, cycling, or exploring Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. We’re on the St Cuthbert’s Way and 1km from the end of the Pennine Way.

Tea and coffee facilities and home baking are provided in your room. In the mornings we serve a full-cooked Scottish breakfast, with locally-sourced ingredients and home-made preserves, in our guest breakfast room. Vegetarian options are always available.

We're very happy to cater for vegan or other diets - please let us know when you book so that we can do any shopping and cooking needed. There are two pubs within easy walking distance for evening meals and we can prepare packed lunches by arrangement.

Private parking is available outside the house and we have secure storage for bicycles. We enjoy hillwalking and have plenty of space for drying wet clothes and footwear, and walking maps for guests to borrow. Rutherford House has a step at the front door, and the guest bedroom is upstairs on the first floor.
