Please note that there will be some interior styling changes to Saddler Cottage from March 2019. New images will be available once complete. Played out against a beautiful tree-lined backdrop, Saddler Cottage oozes character and charm, offering a perfect base for enjoying the great outdoors or simply an excuse to indulge in a more relaxed pace, waking to the gentle twitter of bird-song and long heavenly lunches in the pretty cottage garden.
One of four properties set in the old stable area within the private grounds of Tillmouth Park Estate, many features have been incorporated into the renovations with original beams, wood-panelling and large coach house windows, ensuring the property is wonderfully warm and light.
The large open-plan living area incorporates the sitting room, dining room and kitchen with an appealing combination of rustic, earthy tones, rich fabrics and natural wood and stone finishes designed to compliment the period style.
The property configuration offers good flexibility for couples' or friends, with two good sized double bedrooms and a generous living space, perfect for curling up in front of the warming flicker of the wood burner.
The cottage overlooks a pretty courtyard garden to the front and an additional walled garden to the side of the house, a delightful sunny spot for a morning coffee or an evening barbecue, while a short 5 minute wander will take you to the nearby hotel for an afternoon cream tea or an evening menu of wonderful seasonal produce.
