At the heart of the cottage is a bright open plan living area with huge picture windows that frame the sea views and seating alongside. The accommodation is all on one level with a spacious double bedroom, twin room and modern bathroom. In the garden and seating area is a lovely place to admire the seascape and look out for otters and seals that often come to the shore.
There are 40 acres of beautiful gardens at Armadale Castle (8m) where the mild climate has allowed beautiful flora and fauna to thrive. If the weather isn’t good the onsite Museum of the Isles is worth a visit, offering a fascinating insight into the history of the Highlands and resources that allow people to trace their genealogy. Broadford (8m) has a bike hire shop if you fancy exploring on two wheels.
