Situated on Grimsay Island, North Uist, Western Isles, this self-catering cottage stands in its own grounds with delightful views to loch, hill and sea. It is the perfect base from which to explore stunning white sandy beaches, machair and moorland.
Overlooking a pretty waterlily loch, named after its wild duck population (Loch nan Lach), Sealladh Eabhal was my home until I was twelve years of age. It was built by my father and grandfather circa 1955 from local stone and recently renovated keeping some of its original features and the four outer walls intact.
