Located right on the loch’s edge and at the foot of some of Kingairloch’s most magnificent mountains, it’s best to pack your hiking boots and wellies as there’s lots of exploring to be had. Snug and comfortable, the cottage comprises of a lounge/kitchen area with a log burning stove, a large bathroom with a bath and a separate shower and a generous bedroom. Outside there is a large bike store with supplies of firewood to see you through your stay. Outside the cottage there is also a free visitor mooring.
We are able to get your luggage and shopping to and from the cottage on your days of arrival and departure using an estate vehicle if you do not have a 4x4. Please note the walk across to the cottage involves walking through a river, therefore wellies are essential. The 4×4 crossing does include rough terrain and crossing through two rivers, therefore high ground clearance is essential. If the river crossing to the cottage is too high due to spate conditions, visitors will be provided with shelter.
Dogs are also welcomed in this cottage for a tariff of £24/pet, maximum of three. No fenced area.
