Sheildaig Farm was built in 1804 as part of Tullichewan Castle Estate, a beautiful renovated farmhouse with 3 ensuite bedrooms all with their own entrance from the cobbled courtyard. Set in a glorious location within the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park. Great location to explore central Scotland.
Situated only 1 mile from Loch Lomond, Lomond Shores and the town of Balloch, Sheildaig Farm is a beautiful farmhouse over 200 years old which has been recently renovated. Our 3 rooms have their own entrance from a cobbled courtyard and are all equipped with ensuite shower rooms, fridge, TV, tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast can be served in the conservatory in the main farmhouse or you may choose to have a continental breakfast in your room. Well behaved pets are welcome by prior arrangement only with the owner when making a booking and a charge of £25 per pet is made once you have agreed to the terms and conditions. However, registered guide and support dogs are allowed free of charge.
Our guests enjoy the many local country pursuits and activities with something to suit all the family. Should you wish to dine nearby there are a range of restaurants and eateries within a 5 minute drive.
Sheildaig Farm is within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park where you can walk, climb, golf, cycle or enjoy a range of watersports.
Glasgow Airport is only a 20 minute drive away.
