Shepherd’s Cottage is an original croft cottage modernised to the highest standards and has been described as truly beautiful by many guests.
The double (king size) “Isle of Skye” room and twin “Eilean Donan Castle” room are spacious, very comfortable and have well appointed en suite shower rooms. Breakfast is taken in the sun lounge / guest sitting room with picturesque views down the glen. There is a choice of Continental, light or full Scottish breakfasts. With the usual tea/coffee toast and cereals as you wish.
This is an ideal centre for visiting famous sites such as Eilean Donan Castle (the most photographed in Scotland), Plockton (a beautiful fishing village) and the legendary, mystical Isle of Skye. In addition there are a wide variety of unique sights, both of Historic interest and Natural beauty, close at hand with plenty to do and see for all the family.
Shepherd’s cottage is also where Brenda Macrow, the well known Highland travel writer of the 1940’s, actually stayed whilst writing her book “Kintail Scrapbook”
A warm welcome, comfy bed and great breakfast are fully inclusive.
We look forward to meeting you.
Best regards - Graham and Alison
