The cleverly combined kitchen and dining room create a sociable space for everyone to come together, complete with direct access to the lush, grassed garden.

Upstairs, there are two beautifully appointed bedrooms: one inviting double room and one comfy twin room which are both decorated in calming tones and feature roof windows which really do wonders in framing the stunning landscape outside. There is also a stylish family bathroom which is conveniently placed under the stairs. The patio at the rear of the house features an outdoor seating area, providing a stunning view of the glorious hills and woodlands which surround Shepherds Cottage.

Why not take a trip to the Big Burn car park in Golspie, as this is where you will find the start of a gorgeous walking route which takes you through a striking rocky gorge, and a breath-taking set of waterfalls. For those feeling adventurous, The Highland Wildcat mountain biking trails are a range of thrilling graded trails that ascend Ben Bhraggie from Golspie, and are well worth the challenge!
