Sherramore Lodge accommodates up to 19 guests across 10 rooms, making it the perfect place to gather family and friends for a memorable stay. For smaller groups, the lodge can comfortably sleep 10 guests by utilising the first floor and six bedrooms, while a combination of the first and second floors can accommodate up to 19 guests.
The Lodge is located within a working estate that forms part of a larger area spanning an impressive 114,000 acres. It offers a wealth of sporting opportunities, including fishing, stalking, and shooting, providing guests with the chance to fully immerse themselves in traditional Highland pursuits.
Upon entering the impressive reception hall, guests are welcomed by the warmth of a wood-burning stove and the striking presence of a stag’s head (with a fascinating story behind it). From here, the hall leads into the spacious dining room, where stunning views of Loch Crunachdan provide a breathtaking backdrop. The large drawing room, also offering sweeping views, features an open fire and ample seating, creating the perfect space to relax, take in the scenery, or enjoy a quiet moment with a book. To the far side of the reception hall, a well-appointed kitchen with an Aga awaits, complemented by a substantial pantry and generous storage space.
Nearby is Wolftrax Mountain Bike Trails, a renowned destination for cyclists of all abilities, set against Laggan’s rugged backdrop. For a more leisurely pace, enjoy tranquil walks around the Spey Reservoir. Note: The Lodge has no central heating, although plug in heaters are provided in each room, as are electric blankets in each of the bedrooms. The fires in the downstairs will be set ready for guests arrival and fire wood is supplied for the duration of your stay. It is the responsibility of guests to light and maintain these fires.
If you'd like to enjoy some venison during your stay, this can be pre-ordered before your arrival and delivered to the property. The venison is sourced from across the wider estate and is butchered in house by the estates stalking team. The estate runs a small shop in Fort William, should you wish to pick up some venison or estate lamb throughout your stay.
