Sleeping up to 6 originally a fisherman' cottage with a modern extension giving a beach house feel with panoramic views sitting just a stones throw away from the river Nith on the edge of Glencaple which has been designated a National Scenic Area.
The house is a unique blend of old and new with the old cottage and modern extension giving fantastic views of the river and beyond.
Sitting in the lounge it feels like you are in the country side although you are just on the edge of the village.
What people say they like most about the cottage is sitting looking at the view from the large panoramic window and seeing the tide coming in and the sunsets.
No smoking, no pets, outside footware to be removed when inside the property. Please do not put wet wipes down the toilet. No food or drink in the bedrooms water only permitted. Lights to be turned off and windows closed when not in the property. Clean the BBQ after use. Children to be supervised at all times. Water is very hot in the bathrooms and kitchen.
The house is on the edge of the quiet village of Glencaple giving the best of both worlds.
There is a local bus 6a the timetable is at the bus stop by the shop on the Quay. There are walks along the river. It is best to have a car to get around the area.
