Thank you for finding us and welcome to ‘Solmar’ which means sun & sea, our gorgeous home with a stunning view overlooking Loch Eil. I’m from here, just love this area and still appreciate the scenery, terrain and the seasons in all it’s different majestic scenes that we get on a daily basis. Due to COVID 19, to comply with social distancing measures, we have cut our capacity by 50%. This means you are our sole guests. Your bathroom is not en suite, it’s just across the hall. We have our ‘Good To Go Covid 19 Industry Standard’ 2020 certificate from Visit Scotland. Along with this we also follow Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol. No hidden costs, full 5 * Airbnb. We look forward to being part of your holiday.

We're a perfect 6 miles from Fort William, on the road to the isles, A830. Our home is ideal for Mallaig & Skye etc. Usually, April till Oct, the Jacobite train runs right in front of our house and can take you on a Harry Potter Magical journey across the Glenfinnan Viaduct, to Mallaig. The Caledonian canal, Nevis Range, Ben Nevis Distillery & Ben Nevis are well worth a visit so if you like skiing, walking, mountain biking, drinking, scenery & steam trains, you’ve arrived at your destination. You'll love it!

We love life, people and company so you would be very welcome into our home. There’s plenty free parking on our property and it’s the perfect distance from town. It’s 6 miles from Fort William heading West over the Caledonian canal and still rural. It's an ideal base for Oban, Inverness, walking in Glencoe, Glen Nevis, heading to Glenfinnan, to even just see the train, going to Mallaig on the train or by car via our beautiful beaches venturing over the sea to Skye. There is so much to see & do.

We also give you a light breakfast to set you up for a wee while. The kitchen is not available for cooking but it’s where you eat your breakfast.
