This superb and spectacular house stands quite alone in a commanding position beside its own little lochan 8 miles from Stranraer on the peninsula, the Rhins of Galloway.
The interior is no less imposing than its position and the first impression is of wonderful light and space. With two sitting rooms, a huge dining kitchen, ziplink beds in all the bedrooms and pull-out beds (charge) in the games room, the accommodation is beautifully appointed, luxurious and very versatile. South Airies represents true, gracious country living. You may well spot roe deer and pheasants around the house as well as a wide variety of bird life.
There is excellent walking and cycling straight from the door, riding 10 minutes away at Lochnaw, beaches with golden sands, notably at Luce Bay, and lovely villages such as nearby Portpatrick, to visit. Stranraer offers major shopping and you can catch the ferry to Ireland if you feel like going 'abroad' for the day.
