The property is surrounded by untouched countryside, with so many beautiful walks and areas to explore!
Sat in acres of fields, hills and woodland, between the charming little towns of Kirkliston and Winchburgh, it is the perfect spot to relax and switch off.
Very quiet area with lovely cycle routes and fantastic views of Niddry Bing and Niddry Castle. There is a nice little walk up the canal too, only a five minute walk from the cottage.
You can spot rabbits, deer and many species of birds. The cottage has two levels, with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and sleeping space for up to 8 people. The garden has a dining table and chairs and a BBQ.
Good WIFI in the cottage and relatively good 4G coverage in the area.
The lounge is cosy and has a large sofa and a 65 inch Smart TV with access to Netflix, Amazon Prime, BBC iPlayer, You Tube etc. Large dining table with space for 8 people.
You will have the entire cottage to yourself and a private garden. Parking at front of house for 2 cars.
The beautiful town of South Queensferry is a 5-10 minutes drive or a 20 minute cycle away. South Queensferry is a brilliant day out, with beaches, restaurants, boat trips and the famous 'Forth Bridges'.
Popular wedding venues: Carlowrie Castle, Hopetoun House and Dundas Castle are right around the corner!
Central Edinburgh is only 25 minutes drive or 10 minutes on the train (from Dalmeny station) and Edinburgh airport is a 10 minute drive away.
For groceries, there is a small Sainsburys and Scotmid Coop. There is a local fish and chip shop (Fourways) 2-3 minutes drive away. The cottage is also in walking distance of Niddry Castle Golf Club.
