Station House is situated in Sandilands, near The Royal Burgh of Lanark. Built in 1850, the former railway Station Master's house has been lovingly restored and extended. Station House offers idyllic Scottish scenery.

Close to the M74 which is the main motorway between Scotland and England, we are 30 minutes drive from Glasgow and 40 minutes drive from Edinburgh. An ideal spot to stop and break up your journey or use as a base while you explore Central Scotland and beyond.

The Scottish Borders are a short drive away where you can experience beautiful scenery and sample local cuisine.

New Lanark and the Falls of Clyde are within walking distance where you can experience the World Heritage UNESCO site.

Local bars and restaurants can be found within Lanark itself which is 10 minutes drive away. Lanark market is a 3 mile drive away where you can sample local farmers produce and many market shows.

Situated in the heart of the Clyde Valley there are many beautiful garden centres where you can enjoy home cooking and baking as well as viewing plants and flowers.

Stirling Castle, Loch Lomond and the Trossachs and the Ayrshire coast are only just over an hour away. Perthshire and Fife are less than 2 hours away. Station House offers an ideal spot for walking and cycling and for the more adventurous a climb up Tinto hill is a must.
