Not only is the village one of the best preserved 17th and 18th Century villages in Scotland but it has been the filming location for many a film and drama series including the worldwide phenomenon, Outlander. Culross is situated at one of the starting points for The Fife Pilgrim Way so if walking is your thing then a night or two at stay is perfect before you start your pilgrimage. It is also the ideal base from which to explore the many treasures The Kingdom of Fife has to offer.
We offer a variety of amenities to make your stay with us as comfortable as possible. Fresh flowers and chocolates are standard in our two, gorgeous, individually designed bedrooms, one with an ensuite shower room and the other with a private bathroom. We like our guests to feel special at all times and provide complimentary internet access, charger points, tea and coffee and hairdryers in each room. Enjoy a fabulous breakfast, freshly cooked to order, from our choice of Continental, Full Scottish, Vegetarian, Vegan and Gluten free.
The private guest lounge is available to guests at all times, whether it's to relax in front of the fire with a book or enjoy one of our dinners* prepared by Elaine using fresh, local produce showcasing Scotland's larder. You could even book a Scottish story teller* for the night to entertain you while you dine.
If you are on a pilgrimage or cycling the 191 route bring a flask and we will fill it with warm soup and make you a delicious packed lunch* for your travels. We can even transport your luggage to your next stop off* (* extra charge)
