Built in 2008, the cottage is situated on the picturesque East coast of Harris in the village of Grosebay. This is a perfect location for exploring the uniqueness of this beautiful island. It is only a 10 minute drive from the ferry terminal in Tarbert and 15 minutes to the breathtaking sandy beaches on the West side of the island.
The cottage is on one level and is an ideal retreat for couples seeking a quiet, peaceful and stress free holiday, but it will equally suit up to 6 people comfortably. The accommodation includes an en suite double bedroom, 2 twin rooms, a family bathroom, utility room, kitchen living room and a sun lounge.
Bed linen and towels are provided. Bedrooms are tastefully furnished with oak furniture and very comfortable mattresses.
The large open plan kitchen diner and living room has unhindered views South and North, high double height ceiling and a beautiful wood and peat burning stove for cooler evenings or to lend atmosphere. The sun lounge, which leads off the double bedroom, is also South facing with windows looking onto the secluded landscaped garden and the sea beyond. There is also a workroom with sea view which is ideal for painting or writing.
There is Wifi and an excellent Bose Sound link for listening to your own music or radio by blue tooth or jack, a TV and DVD player with a collection of DVDs, plus some books and games for evenings and indoor days.
A shed in the private garden can accommodate bikes for those on a cycling holiday.
Fresh eggs and vegetables may be available in season from the owner's croft close by.
