Staying at Stoer Head Lighthouse is a life time experience and dream. The Keeper’s house and tower are surrounded by beautiful scenery, dramatic coastline and amazing wildlife right on your doorstep. It is a unique place for not only wild life lovers but anyone seeking breath taking views in a relaxing environment with an overwhelming nature. The Lighthouse itself dates from the 1870's, has been recently refurbished. Our self-catering apartments in the keeper’s house are located on Stoer Head, north of Lochinver in Sutherland, North West Scotland
Enjoy a unique experience at Stoer Head Lighthouse. The keeper’s house has two apartments one on the first floor and the second on the ground floor, each with 2 twin bedrooms, accommodating 4 people in each apartment. Both can also be rented at the same time to fit 8 people. The keeper’s apartments are fully equipped with separate a bathroom, lounge. Wi-Fi internet is available at Stoer Lighthouse. The Stoer Head light house is half way between the village of Drumbeg which a very picturesque village set on beautiful lochs and Lochinver which small local port where you can find many restaurants as well as a local supermarket, butcher, Pub and other shops, this making your stay very easy and enjoyable. There are many activities, such as fishing, walking, eating out, exceptional water falls, swimming, snorkelling, climbing at the famous Stoer Man, cycling, deer Stalking and sightseeing.
