Strathan House is a 19th century farm house, which sleeps eight. It is attractively furnished throughout with an eclectic mix of antique furniture and modern pictures and prints.
A number of additions have been made recently including double glazing throughout and new electric heating everywhere too.
The comfortable sitting room has a wood burning stove and large comfortable leather sofas.
The kitchen/dining room has a generous dining table for eight, which leads out into a utility room with an additional sink and extra storage space for coats and boots. The dishwasher is situated here.
The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave oven, coffeemaker and large fridge/freezer.
There are four bedrooms, a double on the ground floor and three twin rooms upstairs, the one above the kitchen is small and up a steep staircase, suitable for children but perhaps not grandparents!
There are now two bathrooms, each with a shower and lavatory as well as shaver sockets and heated towel rails, both on the ground floor. The Main bathroom has been totally upgraded with a separate walk in shower - one step up and a large comfortable bath tub
The house has newly installed electric heaters in all rooms.
There is television reception and a DVD player.
The tariff includes the use of the house and all its contents.
Duvets and linen are supplied, including towels.
Wood is also included for the fire.
The electricity is now included in the price.

You are welcome to use our state of the art laundry facility at Attadale House during your stay. A professional Miele washing machine and separate tumble dryer have been installed and along with the hanging drying racks ensures your washing is dried overnight.
