Struan Lodge is situated on the outskirts of the popular Highland village of Beauly in an area called Barnyards.
It offers comfortable self catering accommodation for four in a peaceful country location within 10 minutes walk of the village square with its shops, cafes and hotels not to mention the 13th century Priory.
The chalet itself is aromatic with the Western Red Cedar cladding, finished to a high standard, with a covered veranda allowing comfortable enjoyment of the open country Scottish views without concern for the vagaries of the Scottish weather.
No need to worry about packing lots of shopping when you come as Beauly has all you will need right on your doorstep. We have two mini supermarkets, a butcher, greengrocer, delicatessen, chemist, baker, ironmonger, clothes shops, gift shops and three cafes.
Close to the Lodge is Robertson’s Larder the local farm shop where you can buy free range eggs, their freshly picked strawberries and raspberries, when in season, plus other local produce.
Beauly is a central location to tour the Highlands and is close to many tourist attractions like Loch Ness, Culloden Battlefield and Glen Affric. Beauly is credited with having the smallest train platform in the UK. It is on the West and North coast lines, you can travel to Kyle on the West or Thurso in the North.
Inverness is a 20 minute drive away where you can visit its Castle, Cathedral, Eden Court Theatre and many shops and restaurants.
