Summer Cottage is adjacent to Point House Cottage and forms the third side of a grassed courtyard at Point House, Kings Cross.
This is a recently refurbished and extended self catering holiday cottage and is set in 7 acres of secluded lawns and woodlands at Kings Cross point between the villages of Lamlash and Whiting Bay and 7 miles from the ferry terminal at Brodick.
Access is by private road and there are ample parking places and safe play areas for children.
A footpath leads from the cottage down to the shore where there are 2 sheltered bays (1 shingle and 1 shingle & sand) with rock pools. A large grassy area by the shore is ideal for ball games and there are several delightful walks in the locality. The views from the shore are spectacular, looking north to Lamlash and the Goat Fell mountain range and east to Holy Isle with its lighthouse.
This cottage is all on one level and has been designed for two adults and two children.
The cottage faces south and has been constructed with raised beamed ceilings to give a light and airy feel. The lounge/dining area is open plan with an integral conservatory which leads out onto a secluded patio with garden furniture.
The lounge has a cottage suite, flat screen TV with Freeview. The fitted kitchen is complete with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine/dryer, dishwasher and microwave.
The master double bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with bath, toilet and wash hand basin.
A second small bedroom with bunks (suitable only for children) is adjacent to a shower room with toilet and wash hand basin.
