The large kitchen/dining room leads into a bright living room, all enjoying views of Ben Cruachan. The kitchen is well appointed with American style fridge freezer, granite work surfaces, large electric range, dishwasher and microwave. For cosy evenings, the living room has an electric wall fire and Freeview Smart TV and DVD, with WiFi throughout the house. Also on the ground floor are the kingsize bedroom and en suite with shower cubicle and toilet, double bedroom, twin bedroom and family bathroom with separate shower cubicle. In the basement there is a large utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, BBQ, children’s supplies and games as well as space to lock up bikes.
The lovely characterful garden is enclosed, with distinctive areas of shrubs, herbs and seating. The back garden is flat with a handful of steps leading to it. The house itself is reached via a level surface. This family friendly house can provide cot, highchair and other useful baby supplies. The owners of Summit have taken great care to provide luxurious mattresses, crisp white linen and finest soft towels to create the most comfortable stay. Known as the Seafood Capital of the UK, Oban has many excellent restaurants and boasts a distillery, cinema, leisure centre and a variety of shops. From the bustling harbour, regular ferries leave for many of the Isles including Mull, Staff and Iona. Oban is surrounded by beautiful scenery, and wildlife is abundant with dolphins, otters, porpoise and sea eagles. Inveraray Jail, Cruachan Hollow Mountain and Bonawe Ironworks make for great days out and there are plenty of wonderful gardens and historic castles to visit. Popular outdoor activities are available nearby with kayaking, cycling and walking to name but a few. For the less energetic, the Viewpoint is just yards from the house and is the ideal place to sit and take in the magnificent views whilst the ferries come and go.
