Sitting at the head of a tidal inlet known locally as “The Strom”, Taigh Bathach enjoys wonderful sunsets and views over the islands of Hermetray, Vaccersay and Tahay and outwards across the Minch to the Isle of Skye.
This area of the island has some fabulous coastal scenery as well as an abundance of birdlife and marine mammals.
We can accommodate up to six people in the main croft house Taigh Strom or for couples we can offer the smaller more intimate experience of Taigh Bàthach. Well behaved dogs are welcome in both properties.
Taigh Strom was completely renovated in 2012 and has two double bedrooms (one with en-suite) and one smaller twin bedroom while Taigh Bàthach is a new smaller property with one bedroom recently completed in May 2013.
For larger parties it may be worth renting both properties at the same time and special rates can be arranged if you wish to do this.
Both properties are tastefully decorated and furnished throughout with particular attention to detail. While nature provides breathtaking views and outdoor adventures, our holiday homes give you warmth, style and comfort.
