The village of Tolsta Chaolais is arguably the most beautiful village in the Island chain stretching from the Butt of Lewis in the north to Barra Head in the south. It is situated at East Loch Roag on the west coast of Lewis, 18 miles from the town of Stornoway. It is a crofting village of some forty houses, scattered for the most part along a strip of land, half a mile or so wide, between the sea loch, East Loch Roag, and the freshwater loch, Loch a' Bhaile.
Taigh Bhé is a bright, comfortable and well maintained family home, a perfect retreat for any number of visitors up to 6 although more could easily be accommodated by arrangement.
The house is on one level and has two double and one twin bedroom making it perfect for family holidays and its enclosed garden (lawn) provides a safe play area for children. A travel cot is also available as well as a baby bath.
Its kitchen is modern and well equipped with ceramic hob, fan assisted oven, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge, freezer and a large, adjustable dining table capable of seating up to ten people.
The house is extremely cosy with radiators in all rooms. Comfortable seating, television with DVD player and free WiFi access all ensure that visitors will be able to thoroughly relax after enjoying the island's delights.
Bed linen and towels are provided with heating fuel/electric charges being included in the rent.
There is off road parking for vehicles adjacent to the property.
