The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for large or small meals and is often the hub of the house. There is a separate freezer located in the shed outside. The dining table seats six but can fit eight, there is an additional table and chairs in the porch. The porch is a great spot for sitting with a cup of tea or a dram to enjoy the views. It’s also a perfect workspace if required and there is wifi.
The living room is also a cosy space for relaxing and putting your feet up and comfortably seats five on the couch and chairs, additional seats can be added. There are board games, dvd’s, toys and some books for guests to use if they wish, all located on the landing. The main bathroom has a shower only, no bath. Guests can use the large shed for bikes, surf boards, fishing rods and all outdoor gear. There is a freezer, an additional fridge and a tumble dryer in the shed for use. Enjoy a game of darts out there too if you wish! There’s a byre next to the house which is not available to guests.
There’s a large front garden and some outdoor seating but we have an additional table and chairs in the shed that can be taken out if you want to eat outside. Gates are to be kept closed at all times as sheep are often free roaming.
