The day and night telescope adds a thrill to star gazing and wildlife-watching highlights include sea eagles, golden eagles and puffins while otters, seals and deer can often be spotted along the shoreline.

Oban offers day trips to the many local islands including Mull, the beautiful holy island of Iona, Fingal’s Cave on Staffa plus the magical Herbridean islands of Coll & Tiree. There are also many exciting wildlife cruises & diving opportunities or experience the famous nearby Gulf of Corrievreckan with its famous whirlpools and standing waves. Travel south to the Mull of Kintyre and enjoy deserted sandy beaches or visit the islands of Islay, Jura or Gigha.
