Tarbet Lodge on the Isle of Jura is the perfect large holiday house to rent to escape the stresses and strains of modern living. Together with family and friends, the dog and fishing rod, feel the tension slip away as you make the ferry trip to Islay and then on to beautiful Jura, followed by a short drive to the idyll that is this delightful lodge near the shore.
With spectacular views across Tarbert Bay to the Sound of Jura, this property has an area of formal ground with garden furniture, and also has direct access to a sandy beach. Enjoy the charm and comfort of this delightfully furnished holiday accommodation, with its drawing room with open fire and superb views, a formal dining room, and numerous bedrooms and bathrooms. A large AGA in the kitchen gives a warm welcome after a days fishing or walking.
Nature lovers will love the abundance of wildlife with red deer, eagles and otters to be spotted, whilst for hill walkers there are the Pap's of Jura to conquer. Alternatively take it easy and simply enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the beaches or a day’s fishing. Trout fishing is included in the rent and arrangements can be made for additional sport and fishing.
This is truly a self catering holiday in which to wind down and the evenings can be spent playing games or chatting over a glass of Jura's world famous malt whiskey.
