While in the area it is easy to visit Edinburgh. We recommend taking the train as the main line station has frequent services to Scotland's capital. If arriving by train for the start of your holiday we can usually offer a complimentary collection from the station, though there are plenty of taxis also available.. The A1 by passes the town so it is easy to come from North and south. The nearest airports are Edinburgh and Newcastle, both around 60 miles away.
