The Ardross Residence is a gorgeous top floor apartment set upon the River Ness. The split level property is full of quirky interiors that ooze elegance. The apartment sleeps four in two large bedrooms where one carries a beautiful tartan theme that the owner has designed herself. The luxurious bedrooms consist of a king and super king size beds - one of which is zip-linked and can be split into twins if need be. The contemporary kitchen contains modern appliances to cook up a storm, with the spacious hallway being cleverly used as a dining area.
The owner's personal touches are what makes this property stand out from any other; the delicious shortbread and decanter of local whisky on offer when you arrive makes you feel welcome. There are cosy slippers for you to wear if you so wish that are stored in the 'Boot Store' at the door - a lovely touch to encourage you to feel at home whilst enjoying your break. A special feature of the property is the large window in the living room, offering spectacular views of the river and cathedral next door - you may even see a wedding or two during your stay! You could sit here for hours on end watching the world go by, or keep yourself amused by becoming engrossed in a board game or a good book. When you do decide to explore the city, there are lots of things that are almost on your doorstep. Vibrant restaurants and fashionable wine bars line each side of the river, so plenty of places to spend the evening and enjoy city life. Eden Court Theatre is also within walking distance - see a show or a film and then enjoy the vibrant night life afterwards before making your way back to the apartment. If that isn't your thing, there are numerous shops and cafes in the centre. Take a walk over the suspension bridges on the river to the picturesque Ness Islands or visit one of many historic castles within the city and its outskirts. Of course, a trip to Inverness is not complete without a hunt for Nessie - it takes just 20 minutes to travel by car to Loch Ness.
