The Artist’s Cottage (owned by the artist John McGhie’s family) is nestled on the coast in the heart of the fishing village of Pittenweem in the East Neuk of Fife, with wonderful sea views.
Inside is an inviting sitting room, well-equipped kitchen and separate dining room. There is a double bedroom downstairs and upstairs is a double bedroom, a twin room and the family bathroom. Outside is a grassed garden with a charming seating area overlooking the sea.
There is a shop, bakery, cafés and a fish and chip shop in Pittenweem and a supermarket in Anstruther (1.5m). History enthusiasts will love Scotland’s Secret Bunker (6.5m), a cold war underground bunker that is open to the public. Watersports are available on Elie beach (4.5m) and St Andrews (11m) and Perth (40m, all facilities) are easily reachable.
