Recently refurbished, the Bakehouse is a 3 storey townhouse located in the centre of Kelso, with 4 bedrooms, a fully fitted kitchen, lounge/dining room and 2 bathrooms the property has a traditional feel with high ceilings and good sized room.

The entrance on the ground floor leads to stairs entering the property which lead to the spacious dining/living room which includes a restored open fire. The kitchen is fully equipped offering all you need to entertain during your stay.

A spacious single bedroom is also located on the first floor, along with a fitted bathroom including bath and shower. The staircase off the hallway leads to the third floor off which are the three further bedrooms (1 feature double, 1 feature single and a standard single room) and a shower room.

The delightful, historic town of Kelso was described by Sir Walter Scott as "the most beautiful, if not the most romantic village in Scotland." Kelso today remains one of the most attractive and unspoilt towns in the Borders, with its cobbled square, 12th Century abbey, the majestic Floors Castle, and Roxburghe championship golf course on its doorstep. The town plays host to a number of interesting events throughout the year, and offers a fine selection of independent shops as well as a good range of lively pubs and restaurants.

Ideally placed for fishing guests, there are several prime beats in addition to some excellent and reasonably priced fishing on the Teviot which joins the Tweed at Kelso. The area is also a golfer's paradise with 22 courses within a 30 mile radius ranging from challenging PGA Championship courses, to picturesque links and parkland courses to suit all standards.
